Nursing Case Management of Injured Workers
|
When an employee is injured on the job, and a Workers' Compensation claim is filed,
case managers are often hired to literally "manage" the claim/case and coordinate
care in an
effort to assure that the injured worker is provided the best possible
care, at the shortest possible loss of time for the employer, and with the least
amount of unnecessary expense to the insurance company.
Gini L. Toyne & Associates, Inc. employs a staff of registered nurses/case managers
who fill the role of liaison between the employer, the insurance company, the injured
worker and the medical service professionals, (i.e. physicians, physical therapists,
etc.). By keeping lines of communication open between all individuals involved,
quality care can be provided with the least amount of difficulty; thus keeping costs
down and care at a priority
level. |
